 We have an exclusive on the mysterious Can You Hack It? documentary. An anonymous source (we like to call Lord Nikon) close to the project is feeding us tidbits here and there. There is a trailer and website in the works, it's being done by an outside source.
It seems that Kevin "King of Hacking" Mitnick will no longer be in the picture. Turns out that he and one of the producers didn't see bit to bit which resulted in Kevin pulling out. Then there's Adrian Lamo, who guess what, was arrested during the shoot. Yup, it was caught all on film and altered the course of filming to an amazing degree. Our source, Lord Nikon said that Adrian was also going to pull out due to the same creative differences experience by Mitnick. Lamo stayed as a favor to director Sam Bozzo, and to show his dedication to the rest of the team involved in the movie.
Can You Hack It? was to originally center around the hacking of old V. the criminals of today. Trigger Street was following Lamo around as he evaded the FBI. However, this hacking mastermind decided to drop a 0 and turn himself in to the Feds during filming. Thus changing the documentary into a "here and now" story.
