You cannot argue that George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead has been a pop culture icon since its debut in 1958 and birthing the zombie genre. It has been rebooted before and is not getting another remake, but this time it will be Night of the Animated Dead.
The animated adaptation will feature voice work from Josh Duhamel as Harry Cooper, Dulé Hill as Ben, Katherine Isabelle as Barbara, James Roday Rodriguez as Tom, Katee Sackhoff as Judy, Will Sasso as Sheriff McClelland, Jimmi Simpson as Johnny and Nancy Travis as Helen Cooper.
To Your Last Death director Jason Axinn has the helming job. Night of the Animated Dead will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment later this year on Blu-ray and Digital.
