My 11-year old and I really enjoyed watching the first one together. Without a doubt it’s a hokey movie, but it did makes us laugh and we enjoyed Jack Black as Goosebumps author R.L. Stine.
Well, it seems the first film did well enough to warrant a sequel and we’re getting it January 26th, 2018. Director Rob Letterman is slated to return with writer Darren Lemke. It’s too early to know whether Jack Black, Dylan Minette, or Odeya Rush will be returning to reprise their roles.
