… SEBASTIAN STAN? That kid from ‘Gossip Girl’? The douche from HOT TUB TIME MACHINE? The ‘bow-tie party guest’ from RACHEL GETTING MARRIED? That Sebastian Stan?
Yep, that’s the dude. Rumor has it that he is signed up for ‘multiple films’, which may mean AVENGERS or a future sequel as either ‘Bucky-Cap’ or ‘Winter Soldier’ (if you’re not up on your Captain America minutiae, JFGI). Let’s just pray that director Joe Johnston (aka the man who gave us THE ROCKETEER and THE PAGEMASTER) knows what he’s getting us into. If CAPTAIN AMERICA: FIRST AVENGER tanks, it could well take the whole of Marvel’s AVENGERS franchise (including any future IRON MAN, INCREDIBLE HULK or THOR films and possibly Edgar Wright’s much-wished-for ANT MAN flick) down the watery spiral with it.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: FIRST AVENGER is scheduled to hit theatres on 22 July, 2011.
