Actress Halle Bailey (not Berry) landed the role of Ariel in the live action Disney remake of the adventure down under the sea… The Little Mermaid.
Today she unveiled the first picture of her out of the sea, but not quite on land as the live action Ariel.
TThe rest of the cast includes Melissa McCarthy, Daveed Diggs, Jacob Tremblay and Awkwafina. Lin-Manuel Miranda is providing some new music to the Howard Ashman and Alan Menken songs which will also be in the film.
I, for one, am looking forward to seeing this COVID delayed film.
