Prime Video’s Neagley Spin-Off Sets 2026 Release Date Alongside Reacher Season 4

Action fans, mark your calendars. Prime Video has officially dropped first-look images and locked down the premiere dates for both Reacher Season 4 and its highly anticipated spin-off series, Neagley.

As a massive fan of the Jack Reacher books who has read nearly all of Lee Child’s novels, seeing this world expand on screen has been an absolute blast. For viewers who only know the universe through the streaming adaptation starring Alan Ritchson, Frances Neagley (played brilliantly by Maria Sten) was introduced right alongside Reacher. However, for those of us who have spent years turning the pages of the novels, Neagley holds a special place as a critical, recurring powerhouse who always elevates the stakes whenever she appears. Giving her the spotlight in a standalone series is a phenomenal move.

The rollout strategy for both shows is going to make late summer and early autumn highly entertaining:

  • Reacher Season 4: Premieres on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, launching with the first three episodes. New episodes will drop weekly.
  • Neagley: The entire eight-episode debut season will drop at once on Wednesday, September 16, 2026—acting as the ultimate explosive follow-up right as the Reacher finale concludes.

The standalone series finds Frances Neagley working as a private investigator in Chicago. When she discovers that a beloved friend from her past has died in a highly suspicious accident, she goes on a relentless warpath for justice. The show promises to dive deep into her background in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit, utilizing everything she learned under her mentor, Jack Reacher.

Maria Sten returns to lead an impressive ensemble cast, including Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole. And yes, Alan Ritchson is locked in to guest star as Jack Reacher, ensuring the connective tissue between the two series remains rock solid. The project is steered by Reacher executive producers and co-showrunners Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, with Lee Child himself executive producing.

Will you be watching Neagley when it hits Prime Video this September? If you’ve read the Lee Child books, how do you feel about her stepping into the solo spotlight? Drop your thoughts below!
