A Futuristic Paradise Hides a Dark Secret
Reporters Chuck Browning (Peter Fonda) and Tracy Ballard (Blythe Danner) are invited to the newly reopened Delos resort, where guests can enjoy a technologically advanced vacation without the dangers that plagued its predecessor.
At first, Futureworld appears to offer the perfect combination of entertainment and futuristic luxury. But Chuck and Tracy soon begin noticing strange inconsistencies beneath the resort’s polished exterior.
Their investigation leads them toward a conspiracy that reaches far beyond the Delos complex, transforming their assignment into a fight for survival. Adding to the mystery is the return of Yul Brynner’s Gunslinger, the iconic figure from Westworld.
With its blend of science fiction, suspense, and 1970s-era technological paranoia, Futureworld offers a different take on the world Michael Crichton created while maintaining the unsettling idea that technological progress can come with a dangerous price.
