The Beastmaster has been restored from its 35mm interpositive into an approved 4K UHD version from director Don Coscarelli. On top of that there is an alternate version what updated visual effects supervised by Coscarelli. Wait, what? Yes, updated visual effects. I can’t wait to see what they did to the sword-and-sorcery pic that stars Marc Singer, Tanya Roberts, Rip Torn and John Amos.
