You heard me right. The future dalmatian slayer Cruella De Vil will be played by Emma Stone once again in the sequel to Cruella after locking in a new deal with the mouse house. A pandemic released film that did well enough to garner another one and I could be none the happier.
Considering the lawsuit with another A-list leading lady this is good news. Especially, considering the films day and date release theatrical and on the streaming platform with Disney+ Premiere Access which is the source of said lawsuit.
Emma Stone killed it in Cruella and I for one cannot wait to see what the film making team comes up with for the sequel. I’ll go see this whether it is release in theatres only, or once again on Premiere Access.
