The interwebs speculated that Krampus director Michael Dougherty would be helming Godzilla 2 when it was announced that he and writing partner Zach Shields.
Turns out the interwebs were right. Legendary has offered him the directing duties.
Godzilla 2 is currently set for release on March 22, 2019. Legendary also set Godzilla vs. Kong for May 29, 2020.
