Set in the vibrant seaside town of Provincetown, TONY tells the coming-of-age story of a 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain long before he became a world-renowned chef, author, and television personality. Searching for direction and adventure, the young Bourdain arrives in Provincetown for the summer and unexpectedly finds himself pulled into the fast-paced, unpredictable world of a restaurant kitchen.
Surrounded by eccentric co-workers, intense personalities, and the relentless pressure of kitchen life, Anthony quickly discovers a world fueled by passion, chaos, ambition, and rebellion. What begins as a summer job soon becomes a life-changing experience that shapes his worldview, ignites his love of food, and sets him on the path toward culinary greatness.
Directed by Matt Johnson, the film stars Dominic Sessa as Anthony Bourdain alongside Emilia Jones, Dagmara Domińczyk, Rich Sommer, and Stavros Halkias, with additional performances from Leo Woodall and Antonio Banderas.
