THE DOG STARS Plot Synopsis
Set in a brutal post-apocalyptic landscape, THE DOG STARS follows Hig (Jacob Elordi), a young pilot struggling to survive after the collapse of the world he once knew. Alongside Bangley (Josh Brolin), a hardened military survivalist with a strict and practical approach to staying alive, Hig has created a fortified and isolated homestead in the remote wilderness.
While Bangley focuses on security and eliminating threats, Hig holds onto something more fragile — the belief that there is still kindness, hope, and humanity left somewhere beyond their isolated existence. When Hig intercepts a mysterious radio transmission from an unknown source, he decides to leave behind the safety of their compound and venture into the dangerous unknown.
His journey becomes a search not only for answers, but for proof that the human connection he remembers from the old world may still exist.
