The In The Heights actress, Leslie Grace, has won the coveted role of Batgirl in the upcoming HBO Max movie. We previously reported that Bad Boys for Life duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah would be directing the film based on a script from Birds of Prey and Flash writer Christina Hodson.
For those of you who don’t know Batgirl is the daughter of Goth Police Commissionaire Jim Gordon. She has become one the most popular film heroines in the comic book world even as she transitioned from Batgirl to Oracle after being paralyzed.
