If you smell-l-l-l what the studio is cooking… Dwayne Johnson has been confirmed for the fifth installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise. Johnson joins Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in Fast Five and news on his character and roll have surfaced.
Looks like Dwayne will be on the law side in this installment. MTV Movie Blogs had the following from the big guy himself:
“We’re gonna introduce a new character into the franchise,” he said. “A really unique U.S. Marshal who is hired to hunt and track down Vin Diesel and Paul Walker.” Unique? What the heck does that mean?
“He’s a former bounty hunter,” Johnson explained. “He has a unique group of guys who, when the government has issues in trying to track down and find individuals, they call my character.”…
… he’s clear on what his orders will be: “I get me and my guys, we’re gonna hunt them down, we’re gonna track them, we’re gonna bring their asses in, we’re gonna whip their asses. Not necessarily in that order.”
