The story follows Dan Burton, a once-promising filmmaker whose career has collapsed into directing low-budget pop-up advertisements after the failure of his first and only feature film. Frustrated with his stalled ambitions and trapped in an increasingly bitter marriage to aspiring actress Lisa, Dan reaches a breaking point. Following a visit with his aging father, Michael, at a nursing home, Dan heads to the couple’s isolated lakeside cabin for what appears to be a quiet weekend getaway. Secretly, however, he has enlisted the help of an ex-con acquaintance named Henry to carry out a horrifying plan, murdering his wife.
But as hidden motives, betrayals, and unexpected visitors begin piling up, the carefully planned murder spirals into a violent and wildly unpredictable chain of events. What follows is a blood-soaked collision of deception, survival, and dark comedy where nobody can be trusted and everyone may have their own deadly agenda.
