The sheep are returning with the official trailer for BLACK SHEEPS, the new comedy-horror from writer and director Jonathan King.
Set in the world of King’s 2006 comedy-horror hit BLACK SHEEP, the new film returns to the creatures, gore and irreverent humour that made the original stand out, while introducing a new story for audiences who may be discovering this strange and bloody world for the first time.
BLACK SHEEPS is coming to Aotearoa New Zealand cinemas on November 12.

A New Pathogen Leads Back to the Zone
A dangerous new pathogen has a young scientist convinced that something far more serious is happening. Her investigation eventually leads her back to her hometown in rural New Zealand, located in the shadow of the remote sheep station where the macabre events of the original BLACK SHEEP unfolded.
Her search takes her toward an area known as the Zone, where terrifying creatures are waiting.
The new film once again mixes creature effects, gore and irreverent comedy, creating a farm-fresh horror ride that continues the story of the original while opening the door for new audiences.
Returning to the World of BLACK SHEEP
The original BLACK SHEEP was released in 2006 and became known for turning one of New Zealand’s most familiar farm animals into a source of bloody horror.
BLACK SHEEPS brings that world back with Jonathan King once again involved creatively, serving as director, screenwriter, story creator and contributing characters.
Rosie Howells and Matthew Grainger also contribute to the story.
The cast includes Nathan Meister, who returns as Henry Oldfield, alongside Joe Witkowski, Tabatha Killick, Ben Fransham, and Allan Henry.
Meister’s return as Henry Oldfield also connects the new film directly to the world established in the original BLACK SHEEP.
