Bear (Michael Johnston), a music store employee and a hopeless romantic at heart, has spent years quietly carrying a torch for his childhood friend and longtime crush, Nikki (Inde Navarrette). Too shy to ever confess his feelings, Bear turns to an unusual and seemingly harmless novelty item known as the “One Wish Willow,” a mysterious supernatural toy rumoured to grant a single heartfelt wish. Hoping his luck in love changes, Bear makes a simple yet powerful request that Nikki fall deeply in love with him.
At first, the wish appears to work exactly as he hoped. Nikki suddenly begins to see Bear in a new light, and the connection he has dreamed about for so long finally starts to bloom. For a moment, it feels like fate has stepped in to rewrite his love story. But the magic behind the One Wish Willow comes with consequences that Bear never anticipated. As strange events begin to unfold and Nikki’s feelings intensify in unsettling ways, the romantic dream quickly takes a darker turn.
What began as an innocent wish for love slowly spirals into something far more dangerous, forcing Bear to confront the frightening reality that supernatural wishes rarely come without a cost. As the consequences grow more severe, Bear must grapple with the possibility that the love he wished for may not only destroy his relationship with Nikki but could also change both of their lives in ways neither of them can escape.
