A House With a Dark History
In PLAY HOUSE, a young man is renovating a dilapidated house in an attempt to win back his ex.
Things take a disturbing turn when he discovers a collection of VHS tapes hidden in the basement. The tapes contain episodes of an unaired television show, and as he begins to uncover the strange and dark history surrounding the program, its influence starts creeping into his own life.
What was supposed to be a fresh start quickly becomes something much more dangerous, putting his final chance at reconciliation in jeopardy.
The setup gives PLAY HOUSE a classic horror foundation while adding a creepy VHS and lost-media element, with the house itself becoming increasingly tied to the mystery.

The Cast
PLAY HOUSE stars Will Harrison, Jessica Sula, Jordan Gonzalez, and James Urbaniak.
The story keeps its focus on the young man at the centre of the house renovation and the strange discovery that begins to pull his life apart.
Nicolas Curcio Directs
PLAY HOUSE is directed and co-written by Nicolas Curcio, who also shares writing duties with Kirby Gladstein.
The film is produced through Chroma, Divide/Conquer, and Skinny Ghost.
With its combination of a rundown house, mysterious VHS recordings, and a television show that was never meant to be seen, PLAY HOUSE is clearly leaning into the kind of horror mystery where digging into the past can make things much worse.
