The official trailer has arrived for RAY GUNN, a new animated science-fiction mystery from Academy Award winner Brad Bird, the filmmaker behind The Incredibles, Ratatouille, and The Iron Giant.
Set inside a massive alternate-future metropolis imagined through the visual style of 1939, the film follows private investigator Raymond Gunn, voiced by Sam Rockwell, as an unusual assignment involving a famous entertainer leads him into a dangerous murder case.
RAY GUNN opens in select theatres December 4, 2026, before arriving on Netflix December 18.

A Detective Story in a Very Strange World
The city of Metropia is a sprawling metropolis where humans and aliens exist within a society filled with secrets.
Raymond Gunn makes his living investigating those secrets alongside his alien partner Eyera, taking on jobs for people who would rather keep certain information hidden.
Gunn’s latest assignment comes in the form of a questionable spy job connected to multimedia superstar Venus Nova.
What initially appears to be another payday quickly turns into something much more serious when murder enters the picture. Gunn finds himself pulled into a mystery unlike anything he has encountered before, putting his investigative skills to the test while exposing even deeper secrets within Metropia.
