In Mortal Kombat 2, Earthrealm’s defenders are forced into a no-holds-barred, gory showdown against the tyrannical rule of Shao Kahn, whose quest for domination threatens the very existence of Earthrealm.
Leading the charge is Karl Urban as the cocky, scene-stealing Johnny Cage, stepping into the franchise with his signature swagger. He joins returning heroes including Lewis Tan as Cole Young, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Tadanobu Asano as Lord Raiden, Joe Taslim as Bi-Han/Noob Saibot, and Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion.
Towering over them is the ruthless emperor Shao Kahn, portrayed by Martyn Ford, whose hunger for conquest pushes Outworld into full-scale invasion. As alliances are tested and rivalries flare, the fate of Earthrealm hangs in the balance.
