This heartfelt and poignant story follows Ernie Tyler, a small-town pear salesman whose life is shaken after the death of his beloved wife, Emma. While grieving her loss, Ernie discovers Emma has left behind a carefully detailed list of instructions for what she wants done with her ashes.
What begins as a simple request soon becomes an unexpected journey, sending Ernie on a series of emotional and often challenging adventures across Pear Valley, Oregon. Along the way, Emma’s presence continues to guide him, helping Ernie face his grief, reflect on their life together, and ultimately find the strength to move forward.
