Disney and Pixar have officially revealed the first teaser trailer and poster for “Gatto,” an all-new animated adventure that transports audiences to a hidden feline world beneath the canals of Venice, Italy.
The upcoming film reunites the acclaimed creative team behind Pixar’s Oscar-nominated hit Luca and introduces a story filled with humour and self-discovery, all seen through the eyes of a street-smart cat searching for his place in the world.

Mark Ruffalo and Laurence Fishburne Lead the Voice Cast
Pixar has announced that Mark Ruffalo will voice Nero, a clever but troubled black cat who has spent years navigating the winding canals and shadowy alleyways of Venice.
Joining him is Laurence Fishburne as Rocco, a feared and powerful feline mob boss who controls much of the city’s underground cat society.
The newly released teaser introduces the pair in a humorous interrogation scene that offers a first glimpse at the film’s unique blend of comedy and adventure.
A Story of Friendship, Purpose and Second Chances
Set within a vibrant cat-run underworld hidden beneath one of the world’s most iconic cities, Gatto follows Nero as he begins to question the life he’s built for himself.
After years of surviving on the streets of Venice, Nero finds himself heavily indebted to the ruthless Rocco. Facing mounting pressure and running out of options, he is forced into an unexpected friendship that could finally help him discover his true purpose.
Of course, finding redemption won’t be easy.
Between the dangers of Venice, rival cats, old enemies, and the ever-present influence of Rocco, Nero’s journey may prove to be the adventure of a lifetime.
The Creative Team Behind ‘Luca’ Returns
Gatto is directed by Enrico Casarosa and produced by Andrea Warren, the acclaimed filmmaking duo behind Pixar’s beloved coming-of-age story Luca.
Their previous collaboration earned widespread praise for its emotional storytelling, stunning Italian setting, and heartfelt exploration of friendship. With Gatto, the pair once again return to Italy, this time venturing into a more mysterious and whimsical side of the country.
