Why Parasomnia Is Worth Watching
Parasomnia taps into one of horror’s most unsettling concepts: the fear that nightmares don’t end when you wake up. By combining supernatural mythology with psychological trauma, James Ross II crafts a story that explores how unresolved grief can manifest into unimaginable terror.
With Jasmine Mathews leading the cast as a woman caught between reality and the nightmare realm, Parasomnia looks poised to deliver atmospheric scares, unsettling imagery, and emotional depth. Fans of films like Smile, The Babadook, Lights Out, and Insidious should find plenty to fear when the film arrives on Shudder.
