Most of this year Disney has toyed with Disney+ releases, some day and date with theatrical, some exclusive to the streaming platform. After the record breaking weekend for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings the studio has announced that all remaining movies for 2021 will get a 45-day exclusive theatrical window.
That includes Eternals, West Side Story, The King’s Man, Ron’s Gone Wrong and Encanto (Encanto will be a 30-day window).
After their exclusive windows they will be released on Disney+.
