TREASURE ISLAND is getting a new adaptation on Paramount+, taking Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic pirate adventure in a darker and more character-driven direction.
Set in 1788, the series follows Jim Hawkins and his mother Bess after a legendary treasure map puts them in the middle of a dangerous race for the fortune once controlled by the infamous Captain Flint.
With pirates, spies, shifting alliances, and secrets surrounding the treasure, this new version expands the familiar story into a larger adventure spanning Cornwall, the open sea, and a mysterious island.

A Dangerous Voyage for Jim and Bess
Everything changes when Jim Hawkins comes into possession of a legendary treasure map.
His mother, Bess Hawkins, quickly realizes that the information they now possess makes them targets. The pair eventually set sail aboard The Hispaniola, beginning a journey where survival becomes increasingly difficult.
Their path brings them into conflict with two very different men. Long John Silver is a dangerous pirate whose charm makes him difficult to underestimate, while Aaron Graham is a British agent whose polished exterior hides his own agenda.
As the voyage continues, Jim is forced to mature quickly while he and Bess attempt to navigate a world where no alliance can be taken for granted.
