Writer Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body, Juno) and director Zelda Williams (Kappa Kappa Die) is a twisted love story based on Frankenstein (loosely like the creature’s stitched-on limbs).
Lisa “Frankenstein” is a teenager whose crush is unlike anyone else in her school. The object of her affection happens to be a corpse, who is brought back to life under shocking circumstances. Together the two embark on a journey of finding love, contentment and a trail of missing body parts
The film stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest and Carla Gugino and is set to open in theatres across Canada on Friday, February 9th.
