Overview
Jamie, an uninhibited free spirit bemoaning yet another breakup with a girlfriend, and her demure friend Marian desperately needs to loosen up. In search of a fresh start, the two embark on an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee, but things quickly go awry when they cross paths with a group of inept criminals along the way.
The trailer for the film is Odd Couple Meets Road Trip and hijinks ensure type feel, at least that is the perception from the trailer. There’s a mix-up and Jamie and Marian end up with a rented car meant for some bad dudes. A cat and mouse chase ensures across the country. Pedro Pascal and Colman Domingo also co-star in the film.
Drive-Away Dolls opens in theatres on February 23, 2024.
