Plot
After spending 20 years “chillin’, tokin’ and bonin’,” Ali G receives some life-changing news: his longtime girlfriend Julie is eight months pregnant.
Suddenly faced with the prospect of becoming a father and having another mouth to feed, Ali realizes that his carefree lifestyle may have to change. Determined to find a way to reclaim his former glory — and presumably make some money along the way — he heads to America.
But Ali’s attempt at a comeback quickly turns into something much more dangerous. What begins as a quest to rebuild his reputation puts him in the path of adversaries who threaten not only his future, but potentially his life and the future of his unborn child.
And, naturally, Ali G’s questionable decision-making isn’t exactly going to make things easier.

Sacha Baron Cohen reprises his iconic role as Alistair Leslie “Ali G” Graham, the outrageous wannabe gangster and self-proclaimed cultural commentator who first became a worldwide phenomenon in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Known for his exaggerated slang, ridiculous observations and complete lack of self-awareness, Ali G became one of Cohen’s most recognizable creations. The character originally gained prominence through Da Ali G Show, where Cohen famously interviewed unsuspecting public figures while remaining completely committed to the Ali G persona.
The new movie gives the character an opportunity to return to a world that has changed dramatically since audiences last saw him.
A New Chapter for Ali G
Rather than simply recreating the character’s earlier adventures, Ali G: Who Iz I? appears to put Ali in a very different situation.
For perhaps the first time, fatherhood and responsibility are hanging over his head. The discovery that Julie is pregnant provides the film with a new motivation for Ali, while his trip to America creates plenty of opportunities for the character’s uniquely chaotic worldview to collide with a new environment.
The trailer also teases the possibility that Ali’s latest adventure could be considerably more dangerous than his previous exploits.
