The Mandalorian and Grogu (also known as Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu) is an upcoming American Star Wars film directed by Jon Favreau and co-written by Favreau and Dave Filoni. Produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the movie continues the story of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian (2019–2023) and expands the franchise’s post-Empire era.

Set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, the film follows a galaxy still fractured by chaos, with Imperial warlords scattered across the stars. As the New Republic struggles to restore order and protect what the Rebellion fought to achieve, they look to the legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his powerful young apprentice, Grogu, to help confront the growing threats lurking in the shadows.
