Production has officially wrapped in Northern Ireland on The Last Temptation of Becky, the newest chapter in the hit action-thriller franchise from Quiver Distribution and Post Film. Following the breakout success of Becky and its adrenaline-fueled sequel, The Wrath of Becky, the franchise returns with its most ambitious and explosive installment yet, set for a theatrical release across North America in summer 2026.
Fan-favourite star Lulu Wilson reprises her fierce and unpredictable role as Becky, a character who has evolved far beyond her origins into something far more dangerous. This time, she’s joined by an impressive new ensemble that includes Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why), James Urbaniak (Oppenheimer), and Kate Siegel (The Fall of the House of Usher), whose mysterious Agent Kate Montana was first teased in the previous film.
In The Last Temptation of Becky, the title character has taken on a new life as a CIA field agent. Sent undercover to Poland, Becky infiltrates a seemingly quiet family operating an inn near the infamous Wolf’s Lair — Adolf Hitler’s heavily fortified World War II bunker. What begins as a covert intelligence mission quickly spirals into chaos when Becky discovers that patriarch Wilhelm Reuss (Neil Patrick Harris) is secretly orchestrating plans to ignite a terrifying Fourth Reich movement. True to form, Becky abandons protocol and takes justice into her own hands, setting the stage for a brutal and high-stakes confrontation.
The film is directed by Jenn Wexler (The Sacrifice Game), working from a screenplay by Matt Angel based on a story he developed alongside Suzanne Coote, the creative team behind The Wrath of Becky. Wexler, a longtime admirer of the franchise, expressed her excitement about stepping into the Becky universe, promising fans a continuation that honours the spirit of the earlier films while pushing the character into bold new territory.
Quiver Distribution Co-Presidents Berry Meyerowitz and Jeff Sackman shared their enthusiasm for the sequel, noting that audiences’ passionate response to the first two films made Becky’s return inevitable. They emphasized that pairing Lulu Wilson opposite Neil Patrick Harris introduces a fresh dynamic that elevates the stakes and expands the franchise in unexpected ways.
Producer Russ Posternak echoed that sentiment, describing The Last Temptation of Becky as the biggest, bloodiest, and most unapologetically unhinged entry in the series — a film designed to amplify everything fans have come to love about Becky’s relentless brand of revenge.
The production is a collaboration among Post Film, BoulderLight Pictures, and Village Films, with financing support from Creativity Capital, Media Finance Capital, and Northern Ireland Screen. With production now complete, anticipation is already building for what promises to be Becky’s most dangerous mission yet — and possibly her most explosive showdown to date.
