The fight is officially on. Paramount Pictures and Legendary Entertainment have unveiled the new trailer for Street Fighter, launching an ambitious global promotional campaign that brings the legendary Capcom video game franchise from the arcade to the big screen.
The trailer debuted in spectacular fashion on the giant Shinjuku Yunika Vision screens in Tokyo, marking the beginning of the film’s World Warrior Tour. The Japanese launch brought together stars Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang and Jason Momoa, alongside Japanese cast member Hirooki Goto, voice performer Eiko Kano, director Kitao Sakurai and Street Fighter game director Takayuki Nakayama.
Adding another layer to the rollout, fans can also experience the movie trailer as an interactive, playable experience on YouTube, allowing viewers to virtually fight their way through the footage.

A New Street Fighter Story
Set in 1993, the film follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken Masters, whose lives are thrown back together when the mysterious Chun-Li recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament.
What begins as a high-stakes martial arts competition soon becomes something much more dangerous. A larger conspiracy forces Ryu and Ken to confront not only each other, but also the demons and conflicts that have shaped their pasts.
With legendary fighters gathering for the tournament, the movie promises plenty of hand-to-hand combat, larger-than-life personalities and the familiar mythology that has made Street Fighter one of gaming’s most enduring franchises.
From Arcade Classic to Big-Screen Action
The new Street Fighter movie is based on the iconic Capcom video game franchise, with the production aiming to capture the colorful characters, martial arts spectacle and heightened energy associated with the games.
Director Kitao Sakurai is at the helm, with a screenplay credited to Sakurai and T.J. Fixman and a story by Dalan Musson and Gary Dauberman.
