Acclaimed filmmaker Karim Aïnouz directs Rosebush Pruning, an emotionally charged psychological drama that explores privilege, grief, and the devastating secrets that can tear a family apart.

Plot Synopsis

Set in an elegant yet isolated Spanish villa, Rosebush Pruning follows four affluent American siblings whose inherited fortune has left them emotionally adrift and disconnected from the outside world.

The fragile balance within the family begins to crumble when Jack decides to leave the estate and start a new life with his girlfriend. At the same time, his brother Ed uncovers long-buried truths surrounding the mysterious death of their mother, exposing painful secrets that have haunted the family for years.

As betrayal, resentment, and grief rise to the surface, the siblings are forced to confront the lies that have shaped their lives. With every revelation, the bonds holding the family together weaken, threatening to destroy the legacy they once believed would protect them.
