Spider-Noir is an upcoming live-action series inspired by Marvel’s darker alternate-universe take on the iconic web-slinger, Spider-Man Noir. Set against the gritty backdrop of 1930s New York City, the series reimagines the classic superhero mythos through a moody, hardboiled lens.
The story follows Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a seasoned and down-on-his-luck private investigator whose life has been shaped by loss and regret. After a deeply personal tragedy resurfaces, Ben is forced to confront the ghosts of his past, including his former identity as the city’s one-and-only masked vigilante. As crime and corruption tighten their grip on New York, he must decide whether to embrace once again the role he tried to leave behind, stepping back into the shadows as a reluctant hero.
