The holiday season is about to get a lot bloodier. Universal Pictures has released the explosive first trailer for Violent Night 2, the action-comedy sequel that brings David Harbour back as the world’s toughest Santa Claus.
Directed once again by Tommy Wirkola, the sequel arrives only in theatres on December 4, delivering another over-the-top mix of brutal action, dark comedy, and holiday cheer.

Plot Synopsis
After surviving the deadly events of the first film, Santa Claus (David Harbour) is once again called into action when a ruthless gangster, played by Jared Harris, terrorizes the merchants of the Silver Bell Mall.
With his Christmas spirit fading and his magical powers weakened, Santa must rediscover what the holiday truly means before he can stop the criminals threatening an entire community. Facing impossible odds, he calls upon the one ally no villain wants to face—Mrs. Claus (Kristen Bell).
Together, the legendary couple prepare for another explosive Christmas Eve packed with bone-crunching fights, outrageous humor, and plenty of festive chaos.
