Greg Davies Returns as Taskmaster

At the center of the chaos is Greg Davies, returning as the imposing Taskmaster.

Joining him once again is his loyal—but frequently tortured—assistant Little Alex Horne, who oversees the challenges and attempts to keep the increasingly ridiculous proceedings under control.

The relationship between Davies and Horne remains one of the show’s great strengths, with Horne presenting the tasks with his trademark deadpan delivery while Davies decides who deserves praise, ridicule and, ultimately, the coveted points.

What to Expect From Season 22

The new season promises everything fans have come to expect from the award-winning comedy game show: infuriating challenges, wildly creative solutions, unexpected disasters and plenty of insults from Greg Davies.

The contestants aren’t simply competing against one another. They’re also battling the strange logic of the tasks themselves.

A challenge that sounds simple can quickly become an elaborate puzzle, while an apparently impossible task can sometimes be solved through a bizarre stroke of genius.

And, of course, there will be plenty of moments when contestants make things considerably harder for themselves.

A Global Comedy Favourite

Since its debut, Taskmaster has developed into an international television phenomenon, with its distinctive combination of comedy, competition and absurd challenges inspiring adaptations around the world.

The original British series remains particularly beloved for its unpredictable nature. No two contestants approach the tasks in quite the same way, which means even the simplest instruction can produce completely unexpected results.
